A Lifetime In The Shooting Sports
Chris "Sparrow" grew up with a shotgun in his hands and a respect for the field that only comes from a lifetime spent in it. Over thirty years of hunting, target shooting, and personal-defense training have shaped a philosophy that runs through every course he teaches: safety first, fundamentals always, real-world ready.
After earning his NRA instructor certifications across pistol, shotgun, concealed carry, and personal protection, Chris founded Sparrow Firearms Training, LLC to deliver private and semi-private instruction the way it should be — without rushed classrooms or one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Beyond firearms, Chris is a certified Hunter Education Instructor, Stop The Bleed and TCCC trained, and a licensed HAM radio operator. He brings the full picture of preparedness to every student — because owning a firearm is one piece of a much larger responsibility.
